RPO has
delighted concertgoers with their original mixing of East and
West, Funk and Folk and skin-shedding torch tunes. Gypsy Rock?
Traditional toe-twisters? Balkan Lounge Funk? There's a lizard
trying to fit into a pigeonhole. Elvis + Armenia + Funkadelic
+ Bulgaria = RPO.
SIGGI BALDURSSON
- Drumkit, Dumbek, Surdu, Shakers, Percussion, Vocals. This ex-Sugarcube
has lately been hanging with all kinds of subversives like Emiliana
Torrini, Howie B, Les negresses vertes, Grindverk and DIP. He
is also known to appear from time to time as Bogomil Font (the
yugoslavian mambo crooner). He plays Premier Drums and Paiste
cymbals.
SETH BLAIR
- Jensen Electric Six-stringed Cello, Vocals. He accompanies
his solo performances with his trusty acoustic cello, and teams
with 12 string wizard Tracy Moore for The Bad Boys from Boston.
DOUG CODE
- Clarinets, Saxophone, Accordion, Vocals. DOUG also performs
Transylvanian village music with Szszka, and international dance
favorites with Malo Selo.
BILL FEENY
- Guitar, Vocals, Arp Odyssey.
Our band father is also in The Appliances-SFB, and really really
knows how to use a Roland Space Echo.
ANNA PURNELL -
Lead vocals, Trumpet, Percussion. Anna also belts them out with
The Quickies, and can often be found rootling in her weed garden,
composing odd poetry, and muttering to herself as she hacks her
way through the underbrush in the company of her faithful Border
Collies. An accomplished shower singer and public whistler, PURNELL's
musical influences include jazz, opera, bluegrass, advertising
jingles and the sounds houses make as they settle. She plays
a Getzen student model trumpet, and doesn't care who knows it.

ROBERT SCHOVILLE
- Surdu, Bells, Shaker, Cajon, Percussion. ROBERT also
plays drumkit out with RPO on occasion, and is heard here on
Lupita and El Pescador. He has also been seen with the Common
Faces, Sunshine Allison and Od Tapo Imi, and is leader / director
of the Handphibians.
BIFF URANUS BLUMFUMGAGNGE - electric and acoustic violins, Mandoblaster,
Stratocaster, Therolin, balalaika, vocals. Actually, he plays
pretty much anything. BIFF also appears in Green Lime
Dog (with Steve Burke), Yammer (the new Swamp Thing) and the
Gomers, and has been seen with Bradley Fish, Willy Porter, Hanah
Jon Taylor, Adrian Belew and many more
